1.5" Richard Henry Yazzie Navajo vintage sterling silver turquoise belt buckle. Solid sterling silver (tested) with weight and measurements in pictures.. Buckle fits a 1.5" belt. Circa third quarter of the 20th century.

"He was in the Red Running into the Water Clan of the Navajo Nation.
Richard was from from a family of silversmiths. He was the grandson of Bah Yazzie; son of Mary H. and Harrison Yazzie; brother of Wallace H., David, and Frankie Yazzie, and Helen Jack; husband of Betty Yazzie. He was the silversmith for John Kennedy and Gallup Trading during the late 1960s.."nd survival of the cultural arts within his native heritage of the southwestern pueblo people.
