Verdy Jake is a Diné silversmith and lapidary artist who obviously has a talent for picking beautiful turquoise for her jewelry. She has appreciation for traditional older Diné jewelry and the skills to create new works with a feel of the older style.

Verdy Jake (b1970s-) has been an active jeweler since the 1990s. She lives at Smith Lake, north of Thoreau, New Mexico. She grew up in a family with thirteen children. Her oldest brother was a jeweler and shared his knowledge with his siblings.
