7" c1940's John Gordon Leak (Leekity) Zuni Knifewing cuff bracelet. Inlaid plaque intact with small crack bottom right and one top left.

John Gordon Leak, aka John Leekity, (1920-1970) Was prominently featured in the 1975 Sotheby's auction of the C.G. Wallace collection. He used Zuni inlay designs, creating a black background and used colorful stones to generate his popular figures of dragonflies, knifewings, and arrows. He influenced many artists to follow his style of work, and worked closely with his peers such as Leo Poblano, Frank Vacit, Dan Simplicio, and Teddy Weahkee.

All precious metals are tested and guaranteed, any Native American jewelry referred to as Silver or Sterling is guaranteed to be a minimum of 90% (coin) silver and possibly higher content. Anything marked is guaranteed to be what<br>it's marked, most bracelets are photographed on a 6" wrist (non hairy), rings<br>photographed on the appropriate sized finger when possible. With bracelets if<br>the measurement is not given in the description then inside circumference is<br>shown where the metal meets the number on the the cloth tape measure.
