c1940‘s Horace Iule Zuni Knifewing Pin w/snake eye turquoise sterling silver. Great looking and substantial pin with no issues. Weight and measurements in pictures. Unmarked, attributed to Horace Iule, circa mid 20th century. This pin is actually significantly different to most pins attributed to Horace Iule, I have found a pin online in the sold section of a Saks Gallery in Denver, CO that I believe was made by the same hand perhaps at the same time. They attributed it to Eskiose, which is one of the most important historic Navajo Silversmiths, more often referred to as Etsitty Tsosie They dated it to c1930.. I‘m not sure. I‘m guaranteeing it to be solid silver, turquoise, mid 20th century perhaps a little older, and Native American made.
