c1900 Henriot Quimper Prototype Watercolor Sheet from the Factory. Extremely<br>rare item one of two I acquired from an extensive Quimper collection that was<br>put together in the mid 20th century. This piece is over 100 years old<br>guaranteed but recently framed and matted with non acid paper. I'm 100% sure<br>it's an original watercolor from the factory over 100 years old with notes in<br>pencil below each item.<br><br>It was customary in the past that one watercolor prototype be made for the finer<br>faience pieces. These watercolors served as a model to guide the artists who<br>ultimately painted the pieces which were so rich in color and detail. 24.5" x<br>17" x 10 5/8" x 18.25" sight. Some wear to drawings/paper from before it was<br>framed but it displays beautifully and is sure the be the highlight of any<br>Quimper collection.
