Jason Begay/Begaye Navajo tufa cast sterling silver inlaid belt buckle. Fits up to a 1.25" belt. Tested and guaranteed solid sterling silver with weight and measurements in pictures. Fully functional. All items will likely have some age appropriate/expected wear, the older they are the more wear they should have. Circa last quarter of the 20th century.
Jason Begay is a Navajo who was born in 1968 at Fort Defiance, Arizona. His hallmark is “JOB. Jason first started working as a silversmith in 1984 where he learned the basics from his brothers Vernon and Marco Begaye. His first silversmith instructors were Al Nez and Ric Charlie where he learned the skills of tufa casting and cuttle bone casting. Jasons contemporary style of jewelry has won first place at the 1995 and 1996 Arizona State Fairs. He is currently residing in Phoenix and still enjoys Pow-Wows and Blessings.
