This piece is definately well over 100 years old I'm\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;certain and guaranteeing it to be. Ground pontil, natural wear on base, best\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;quality imaginable with no damage or flaws other than minor wear to gilding.\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Really if this is what I think it is it belongs in a museum as it's a top\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;example of someone's work, if you have any better ideas base on\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;reality\/experience I'd also be grateful for that.\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Nicholas J.
