She studied art,\nillustration, and modeling before enrolling at the prestigious Pennsylvania\nAcademy of Fine Arts. Sellors won the institutions' William Emlen Cresson\nscholarship in 1929 and 1930, allowing her to study sculpture in Europe. After\nreturning to Texas, Sellors co-founded The Texas School of Arts in 1932 with\nSallie Gillespie and Blanche McVeigh. Sellors and McVeigh were also founding\nmembers of the Fort Worth Artists Guild. Sellors taught art at a number of\ninstitutions in the Fort Worth while executing commissions for the Works\nProgress Administration (WPA).
