Adjustable from a size 10 or possibly<br>larger as I didn't force the sizer down to whatever size you want by shaping the<br>interior bands. This is a vintage Rebecca Collins ring, it is part of an<br>extremely large all one of a kind jewelry collection that was purchased mostly<br>in the 1980's. Extremely special handmade one of kind ring that should speak for<br>itself, the world renowned Dallas Texas artist that created this is now retired<br>and no longer creating jewelry.<br><br>Rebecca Collins, internationally known jewelry designer, is a native Texan and<br>Phi Beta Kappa SMU graduate who started out as high school teacher. In 1975,<br>Rebecca took a silversmithing class, where she discovered her passion for<br>creating wearable works of art. Before she designed jewelry, she was an artist,<br>and her paintings are now highly collectible.<br><br>Rebecca Collins travels the world in search of materials for her jewelry, buying<br>gemstones and antiquities from thousands of sources. Rebecca's designs are each<br>singular and unique: as in nature, no two items are ever exactly alike.<br><br>When she started designing jewelry, she discovered her fascination with<br>connections between unrelated objects, which lies at the heart of her<br>distinctive designs. Fans admire her artistic combination of contrasting<br>materials such as faceted aquamarine with fossils, jade with vegetable "Off<br>White", or two-thousand year old Roman glass....... her "quirky" combinations<br>create her signature look.<br><br>Her favorite artists for inspiration are Gustav Klimt and Henri Matisse.
