Upon\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;disassembly I found three pieces of paper shown in the interior, one was the cut\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;in half, when put together it reads\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Lane Portrait and Miniature Painter 135 High Street Portsmouth, then on the back\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;perhaps the reciept for this portrait.\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Then the other paper reads this\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Mr Oct. _______\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Great George Street\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Westminister\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;I was really surprised to find these clues though I don't have much time to\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;follow up on them they are interesting. I have put the pieces of paper back\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;inside where they have safely hid for the past 200 or so years. It is 3.5\" tall\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;without the extra loose top ring x 2 3\/8\" wide 44.8 grams.
