Vintage Roy Talahaftewa Hopi silver Bookmark 2 1/8" x 1 1/6" x 10.5 grams, appears unused. <br><br>Roy Talahaftewa (b. 1955) lives in the Second Mesa village of Shungopvi, Hopi Pueblo and is a member of the Young Corn clan. He attended the Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe, NM. Talahaftewa has received numerous awards to include “Best of Show” at the Indian Art Market in Santa Fe, NM. Roy combines traditional Hopi overlay with 14K gold and sterling silver and a variety of gemstones. Roy produces only 30 to 40 pieces a year, giving each piece his finest craftsmanship.
