No issues. 1.75" without bail x 1.55" wide.DAVID LOTTON David Lotton is a second generation American glassblower. He is the oldest son of Charles Lotton and was introduced to the world of glassblowing at a very young age. In 1970, Charles started building a furnace and began blowing pieces of glass from melted down pop bottles in a shed behind their house. David was there in this infancy and he was Charles first assistant at the age of ten. David has vivid memories of his childhood working in the shop with his father. When most children were playing childhood games he was spending time after school and on the weekends helping him at the bench. By the age of 14 he started learning how to do finishing work, polishing the bottom of the glass flat. David eventually followed in his fathers' footsteps and by the age of 15 began making paperweights. That ignited a passion to begin glass blowing.David has been creating his one of a kind vessels since 1978. His unique handcrafted works are designed with precise attention to detail. Developing his own glass formulas, David has created a complex palette of colors, giving him the ability to create his multi-layering and sculpting style. Each year David continues to study and refine the techniques he uses in creating his art.David's Clematis Reflection Series, Hollyhock Paperweight Series and Mixed Bouquets Series all reflect his floral patterns which capture his love for detail. He combines color and layering to create depth and beauty. His Organic Sculptures reflect movement and rich hues of a summer sunset. David is inspired by all nature. He has a successful ranch in the hills of Kentucky where he is inspired to evolve, change, and grow continually. He commutes back and forth to fulfill both loves. pwdrawer

Retired Jeep Collins Sterling and Brass Shadowbox angel Pendant
Retired Jeep Collins Sterling and Brass Shadowbox angel Pendant2.25" wide x 2" tall no damage or detectable wear. In 1972 Jeep Collins, the son of Enid Collins Handbag designer started making jewelry from glass African trade beads that my sister gave me. She told me, "Why don't you put these together with brass wire and I will see if I can sell them in my store." I had just been discharged from the Marine Corps in July and was planning to go back to college in the fall. I needed to earn a little money while I waited to begin school so I took her up on the offer. By September she was selling all the jewelry I could make. I was so encouraged by the sales that I decided to put off college and make jewelry for awhile. Awhile turned into a lifetime career. In time I learned the art of lost wax casting and direct metal fabrication at the Southwest Craft Center in San Antonio. These new skills enabled me to turn sketches into pieces that reflect my interest; wildlife and nature. In 1974 after my redemption through Jesus Christ many of my designs reflected my new found faith. In the early years Dana and I traveled on weekends to arts and craft shows all over Texas to sell what I made during the week. Later we sold to resellers, and in the early 1990’s we opened our own stores in major Texas cities. This was an exciting time; we had over a hundred craftsmen making jewelry in our Fredericksburg workshop; our lives were at a fast pace. Today life is simple, the stores are all closed and we make jewelry in the old tin house on the ranch, very much like the log cabin of my mother’s where I started. We sell from our website and by phone. The downsizing has been a blessing for us. In addition to making jewelry, Dana and I are involved in several Christian ministries, taking care of grandchildren, raising cattle, and growing vegetables.

Her sense of style and fine ability to contribute to the future of modern women enabled her to develop a remarkable collection of innovative and sophisticated pieces. One can immediately recognize the signature style of Zina, by its exquisite and architectural grace and glamour. The successful interplay of semi-precious stones and enamel, with surfaces and textures contrasting against the smooth planes of silver, is what makes her work so unique. She is determined to introduce jewelry that can truly be carried over “from the boardroom to the ballroom.” All precious metals are tested and guaranteed, any Native American jewelry referred to as Silver or Sterling is guaranteed to be a minimum of 90% (coin) silver and possibly higher content. Selling the exact
necklace shown designed by Arno Malinowski for Georg Jensen in the 1960's.
Handmade and designed in the mid 1960's, an authentic period Mid Century modern
piece of the highest quality in both design and .

Silversmith. Arno Malinowski trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in
Copenhagen from 1922 to 1935 and designed a series of statuettes depicting
figures from mythology from 1921 to 1935 for the Royal Danish Porcelain
Manufactory. He worked for Georg Jensen from 1936 to 1944 and again from 1949 to
1965 creating designs for jewelry and hollowware . His 1937 jewelry designs of a
kneeling deer, a dolphin in the rushes and butterflies on a flower continued in
production for many years. In 1940 he designed the ‘Kingmark’ to commemorate the
seventieth birthday of King Christian. It was produced in great numbers and worn
by Danes to show their loyalty to Denmark and their resistance to the German
occupation. Malinowski had also studied the Japanese technique of inlaying iron
with gold or silver in the style of tsuba sword guards. During the war years
when the supply of silver was limited This enabled him to design pieces of
jewelry in iron rather than in silver. Also worked as a sculptor, ceramist,
engraver and medalist.

Georg Jensen, (born August 31, 1866, Raadvad, Denmark—died October 2, 1935,
Copenhagen), Danish silversmith and designer who achieved international
prominence for his commercial application of modern metal design. The simple
elegance of his works and their emphasis on fine craftsmanship, hallmarks of
Jensen’s products, are recognized around the world.

Jensen was apprenticed to a goldsmith at age 14. His artistic talents were
briefly focused on sculpture, but he returned to metalwork, primarily jewelry
and silver pieces, produced in the workshop he opened in Copenhagen in 1904.
Jensen exhibited his works at several major foreign exhibitions (winning a gold
medal at the Brussels Exhibition of 1910) and quickly built a reputation as an
outstanding and highly original silversmith. He moved to a larger workshop in
1912 and acquired his first factory building in 1919.

Jensen’s silverware achieved immediate popularity and commercial success. He
was, in fact, the first silver maker to realize a profit from the manufacture of
modern silver. Until Jensen’s time virtually all successful silverware producers
had relied on a standard repertory of popular traditional designs. Jensen,
however, found that the market for his sleek, simple pieces was larger than
anyone had predicted. His firm grew rapidly, expanding throughout Europe and
opening branches in London and New York City. On both continents Jensen’s work
set trends for contemporary tableware. He was among the first designers to
fashion steel—formerly considered fit only for low-quality, inexpensive
flatware—into handsome, serviceable cutlery.
