Michael Sockyma Sr. Michael is from the Hopi village of Hoteville. He learned the art of overlay at Hopicrafts and later worked for them. He is a member of the Corn clan. He has won multiple awards for his outstanding overlay jewelry. He was born in 1942 and began his career in 1965.
