The lid to candy dish has some worn gold paint,\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;it's not covering a restorations I'm sure, I can remove the rest before shipping\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;upon request.\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Gracetone Pottery was produced from 1959 to 1967. John Frank purchased a\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Muskogee, Oklahoma company named Synar Ceramics in September, 1957, eventually\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;naming it Gracetone in December. He designed a new line of dinnerware named\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Orbit, the name based on a circular motif. Many of the original Synar pieces\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;continued production. Unfortunately the company did not meet expectations, so\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Frank closed it in May, 1962.\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;Frank's associate J.C. Taylor purchased the company, along with its assets, to\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;continue production with a reduced number of items.
