Navajo Silversmith Milton Lee was born in Gallup, NM in 1965.
He has lived and worked as a silversmith in Albuquerque, NM since 1977. He‘s a third generation silversmith, him mother‘s uncle who began silversmithing in 1947 taught her the trade. In 1970 she started to make jewelry using the tools and knowledge she had learned from him. As a small child he would sit and watch my mother make jewelry and help her with the simple tasks of jewelry making. In 1981 at the age of 16, he started making his own jewelry
