c1790 Pewter Coffee Urn with First Prize at Los Angeles County Fair Ribbon. Great piece from the 18th to every early 19th century. Small fractures towards top rim on right side, a few expected dents. I could find no identifying marks. Making this particularly important is this ribbon that was fixed to the top of the lid where it won first prize at the Los Angeles county fair in probably the 1920's-50's. I could find no date on the ribbon it's obviously very old and from a much simpler time than we live in today. Selling the pot and the ribbon it won. Pot is 16" tall.

This piece and ribbon it won really takes me back to such a pleasant time in my mind. A time of different societal values. isshelf
