Navajo Silversmith Louse Platero and her husband, jeweler, Ramon Platero were well respected artists likely beginning in the 1960’s. They are credited with creating the holly leaf in their jewelry. Louise Platero’s handmade hallmark is L Platero. Louise and her husband had 10 daughters and 3 sons.
