This is nice early 20th century copy of a painting by S. Koninck (1609-1659) in the 17th century. It portrays an old man, possibly Saint Jerome reading. The plaque is in excellent condition. The frame has some age lines and a few areas of restoration. It was made in Germany, possibly in the first quarter of the 20th century. Plaque: 10" X 8"Framed: 17 3/4" X 15 3/4"Depth: 3 1/2" Two old, stable, discreet restorations to top and bottom left side of frame, no damage to plaque.
