48" Large Tommy and Rosita Singer Navajo sterling bolo tie with turquoise. Measurements in pics. All precious metals are tested and guaranteed. A Native American jewelry piece referred to as "silver" or "ingot" is guaranteed to be at least 90% silver. I rarely use the word "sterling" when referring to older Native American silver or really any older silver jewelry as silver contents vary and "sterling" is 92.5% silver. No older jewelry is going to be exactly 92.5% silver, some a little over, some a little under. It wasn't an exact thing with handmade jewelry. I've seen thousands of pieces xrf'd to prove this. Bracelets are photographed on a 6" women's wrist.

Retro Roberto Cavalli Italian Turquoise snake clamper bangle. Clean with no issues, appears unworn. The head is stone, appears to be turquoise, Body is gold-tone metal with green enamel accents. The story of the man who revolutionised Italian fashion First years: innate creativity Roberto Cavalli was born in Florence on November 15, 1940. From a young age, Roberto had a real passion for aesthetics which was a precious inheritance from his ancestors. His grandfather, an impressionist painter, and his mother, a master tailor, wove the first threads of his extraordinary future. Within the walls of the Academy of Art in Florence, in 1957, Roberto Cavalli discovered the magic of the connection between textiles and creativity. From the moment his hands touched fabrics, he understood that fashion was the perfect tool to express his talent. That's when his journey began, transforming his name into the symbol of a sensual and provocative style.Sixties: the revolution begins Enthusiasm leads Roberto Cavalli to found a small fabric printing workshop. Here, he introduces an innovative printing technique on ready-made knitwear garments. This bold act, in a decade of profound social and cultural changes, marks the beginning of an iconic aesthetic that will redefine the concept of luxury and timeless style.Seventies: distinctive signs In the 1970s, Roberto Cavalli delves into experimentation with materials, with a focus on leather. In 1970, he makes his Parisian debut with the first collection, which features distinctive leather patchwork, and introduces the innovative use of this technique on jeans. In 1972, he presents the Roberto Cavalli Women's Collection in Italy at the Sala Bianca of Palazzo Pitti.

    1 in magazzino

Sz7.5 Dina Huntinghorse Native American silver and high grade turquoise ringWichita jewelry designer Dina Huntinghorse incorporates a blend of traditional and contemporary jewelry techniques to create masterful works of wearable art. Although gold and silver work is rarely seen among the tribes of the Great Plains, Dina's life experiences introduced her to the craft, and inspired her to develop her own unique style.Raised in southwestern Oklahoma, Dina's first love was of horses, and she learned to reproduce their likeness in pencil sketches and paintings. She was later taught the traditional art of beadwork by an aunt, and became known for her beaded deerskin purses. In 1989, her interest in jewelry was piqued when her late husband, Navajo jeweler Herbert Taylor, taught her to cut beads and do inlay work. Dina began making jewelry on her own in 1996. Her work is featured in galleries throughout the southwest, and she is a regular participant at the Heard Museum Market and the Santa Fe Indian Market.Marked or unmarked as shown in pics, weight and other measurements in pics. He did silverwork for many of the Zuni lapidary artists including Ida Vacit Poblano. He often collaborated with his wife, Katherine Wilson.Navajo Nation artist Ike Wilson (1900-1942) would sign his creations with his bow and arrow hallmark. There has been some confusion in the past about the hallmark of Ike Wilson (1901-1942). It seems that sometimes his work was attributed to Austin Wilson. Both men were born in the same year and in a similar area of the reservation and both men worked at times for trader C. G. Wallace and the Kelsey Trading Company. Ike Wilson’s work is signed with a bow and arrow. After his death in 1942, his wife Katherine Wilson (1907-1985) continued to use his hallmark. Jerry Nelson Navajo sterling Variscite, onyx, and fossil pendant All precious metals are tested and guaranteed. Bracelets are photographed on a 6" women's wrist.

c1960 Vidal Aragon (1923-2015) Santo Domingo Silver and turquoise bolo tie 42" long with no issues, nice heavy tips. From Santo Domingo Pueblo, Vidal Aragon (1923-2015) translated pueblo life into intricate storyteller jewelry. He became internationally renown for his inventive silver and gold overlay designs. His representations of the elements of nature, animals and pueblo life are symbolic of the Indian way. One symbol refers to “everlasting happiness.” Other common motifs are animals and the tracks they make and the blessing and nourishment of corn. An expert craftsman, Aragon drew each story strip with his saw blade and soldered it to a textured oxidized underlayer to illuminate the images. He often incorporated a trademark gold disk to represent the sun or moon.Vidal Aragon learned the overlay technique in the 1930s when he was a student at the Santa Fe Indian School. Before inventing the storyteller jewelry, he experimented with tufa casting and other metalworking techniques. He briefly lived in Scottsdale where he honed his skills as a shop smith. He has fond memories of the time he spent learning ballet as a young man in Phoenix. By the early 1940s, Vidal was already being recognized alongside such prominent smiths as Ambrose Roanhorse and Tom Burnsides for his innovative yet classical designs. Aragon found his true calling though when he began to translate his rich sense of the pueblo way of life into wearable stories, often full of his unique humor. All precious metals are tested and guaranteed.
