Reed & Barton Francis I Sterling Silver Flatware Set with Box. Selling the exact<br>estate fresh set shown in very clean condition with no monograms, no monogram<br>removals. All one set that was put together over generations by one family, well<br>loved and well taken care of.<br><br>An American Classic, Francis 1st by Reed & Barton continues to be as popular<br>today as it was when it was introduced in 1907. The grandeur of this unique<br>sterling silver pattern, designed by Ernest Meyers, is enhanced by its fifteen<br>different fruit-and-flower clusters. Each handle bears one of these exquisitely<br>detailed vignettes. After 112 years this pattern was retired in 2019.<br><br>The Pieces I have in this set are listed below. There are no bends, dents, deep scratches, or significant flaws with<br>this silver ware set.<br><br>Francis 1st flatware was produced by Reed & Barton Silversmiths. The original<br>backstamp featured a lion, an eagle, and the letter “R”; Commonly called<br>"Eagle-R-Lion". in about 1950 a new backstamp came into use which reads “Reed<br>and Barton".<br><br>This flatware was made in the US and is warranted by its production company for<br>100 years.<br><br>Three American Presidents (Wilson, Truman, and Eisenhower) have owned the<br>Francis 1st tableware pattern.
