6 3/8" c1950's Zuni Alice Leekya Homer attrib. silver - turquoise cuff bracelet. No identifying marks, no issues. Alice Leekya Homer (1923-1988)
This lovely Morenci turquoise cuff bracelet was hand-crafted by Zuni artist Alice Leekya Homer. Active: mid to late 20th century. The stones are slightly raised channel inlay, with what is called a fish scale design. Alice and family were well-known for this style of inlay. Alice was the daughter of Leekya Deyuse. The workmanship is perfect on this piece and the wonderful color changes of the turquoise from age in is beautiful! Not Hallmarked, as her early pieces were not hallmarked. But comes with strong attribution.

All precious metals are tested and guaranteed, any Native American jewelry referred to as Silver or Sterling is guaranteed to be a minimum of 90% (coin)<br>silver and possibly higher content. Anything marked is guaranteed to be what it's marked, most bracelets are photographed on a 6" wrist (non hairy), rings<br>photographed on the appropriate sized finger when possible. With bracelets if<br>the measurement is not given in the description then inside circumference is<br>shown where the metal meets the number on the the cloth tape measure.
