6 3/8" c1950's Zuni Alice Leekya Homer attrib. silver - turquoise cuff bracelet. No identifying marks, no issues. Alice Leekya Homer (1923-1988) This lovely Morenci turquoise cuff bracelet was hand-crafted by Zuni artist Alice Leekya Homer. Active: mid to late 20th century. The stones are slightly raised channel inlay, with what is called a fish scale design. Alice and family were well-known for this style of inlay. Alice was the daughter of Leekya Deyuse. The workmanship is perfect on this piece and the wonderful color changes of the turquoise from age in is beautiful! Not Hallmarked, as her early pieces were not hallmarked. But comes with strong attribution.
