On the death of Paul Storr in 1838, his business (Storr & Mortimer) was<br>continued by his nephew John Samuel Hunt under the name of Mortimer & Hunt. In<br>1843 the company became Hunt & Roskell until 1897. <br>Paul Storr entered into business with Rundell, Bridge & Rundell in 1807 who were<br>the Royal Goldsmiths at the time. John Hunt followed in Storr's footsteps and<br>the company Hunt & Roskell was listed in 1843 as Silversmith and Jewellers to<br>Queen Victoria. Due to the Queen's extended European family, they became the<br>most important suppliers to the affluent society around the world. <br><br>804 Grams Mortimer and Hunt Sterling Silver Teapot with acorn Finial. Hallmarks<br>on base and inside lid. No real issues to speak of. A few miniature dings. Hinge<br>is tight, lid fits well. Measures 11" handle to spout x 6" tall. There is a<br>faint Armorial banner of some sort on the front which includes a crescent moon.<br>I tried to photograph.<br><br>This comfortably holds 1.5 liters or quarts and there are no holes, holds water.<br>I fit 1.75ml in it but it was filled to the brim.
