Huge Billy Jaramillo southwestern sterling silver-turquoise-sugilite dragonfly pendant. Selling the pendant shown, circa last quarter of the 20th century. Tested and guaranteed solid sterling silver with weight and measurements in the photos.
Jeweler, Billy Jaramillo, is known for bold designs which incorporate colorful high quality stones and substantial, chunky silver-work. He is the son of the well-known silversmith, Ray Jaramillo. Billy also studied silversmithing under renowned smith Scott Patrick, as well as inlay from Kathy Sanchez of San Felipe Pueblo and Audrey Toribio of Zia Pueblo, both considered best in the shop at that time. Billy cuts all his own stones from raw material and does all his own silversmithing. He resides and works in Rio Rancho, New Mexico and has been designing and creating jewelry for over 35 years.
