c1860 French Bois Derci inkwell with Cut Glass insert. Rare item made from Bois Derci a wood composite made in france in the mid 19th century. Marked Veritable Bois Derci in one Circle and Modele Despose in the other there's an AA in both circles center. There is one old chip on the top of the Bois Derci holder shown in pics. One tiniest flake ever on the fine crystal likely Baccarat Insert. No other damage 8.5" wide.
