c1970 Large Zuni Bobby and Corraine Shack sterling silver thunderbird bolo tie . Solid sterling silver slide and tips. Weight and measurements in pics. 38" long. Expected wear with no apparent damage. Weight shown is just the entire bolo, if there is a tray pictured it will be tared out of course.
Hand crafted by Bobby and Corraine Shack. They have been making jewelry together for many years and are best known for their mosaic inlay Thunderbirds and hummingbirds that are now coveted by collectors. Their work is published in Zuni: The Art and The People, Vol. 2, by Barbara and Ed Bell, 1975.
