23" Gibson Nez- Apache/Navajo pearl beaded necklace - lapis inlay sterling beads. Selling the necklace shown in good condition with measurements in pictures. Tested and guaranteed solid sterling silver. Weight and measurements in pictures. Circa last quarter of the 20th century, 22.75" long.
Gibson Nez was a self-taught silversmith and is known nationwide for his intricate inlay technique and excellent craftsmanship. His work is featured in museums throughout the United States and he has become a popular designer for celebrities. He was born in Dulce, New Mexico and is Navajo and Apache. His work continues to be some of the finest produced in the 20th century. (Gibson Nez passed away in 2007)
