Porfilio, Anne Sheyka Zuni silver shell/stone inlay squash blossom necklace. 29" long, 186 grams, other measurements in pics. No issues.
The artisan, Porfilio Sheyka (1938-1982), began work as a jeweler in 1961 and continued until his death. He specialized in mosaic, channel inlay, and engraved jewelry of the style of this turtle. He was recognized with awards by the Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial, Gallup, New Mexico, and the New Mexico State Fair, Albuquerque.
