24" Foree Hunsicker Sterling Luggage Tag/Medal Charm Necklace 24" total length. Weight and measurements in pictures. The whole necklace is sterling. I believe it was all made by Foree Hunsicker and has always been like this. Not every piece is marked. Foree Hunsicker (1932-2015) In 1954, she graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in art. At UT, she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Later, she studied at Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC and the Arts Students League in New York City. Foree always had an artistic bent. At various times, she was a painter, clothes designer, and interior decorator. Her greatest success, however, came as a jewelry manufacturer when she started a company in 1987 called Medalias by Foree Hunsicker. At one time employing nearly fifty people, Medalias specialized in luggage tag jewelry, reproducing in sterling silver a wide variety of Victorian-era luggage tags and fashioning them into earrings, necklaces, and other accessories. A fixture for many years in the North Texas design world and at the Apparel Mart, Foree was honored with a Dallas Fashion Award in 1995.

25-Zoll-Urne von Qianlong, chinesischer Export auf den niederländischen Markt. Auf dem 40–50 Jahre alten Etikett auf der Unterseite steht: CR Fenton & Co. Ltd. Beachy Road, Old Ford, E3 Gundry, ein englischer Antiquitätenversender, der von Manhattan und Sag erwähnt wird Harbour-Antiquitätenhändler J. Garvin Mecking in seinem Guide to London's Best Shops. 25" hoch mit Deckel x 12" breit, groß und wunderbar. Im 18. Jahrhundert gab es eine große Nachfrage nach polychromen Waren, da Imari sehr beliebt geworden war. Blaues und weißes chinesisches Porzellan wurde zur Übermalung in die Niederlande und nach England geschickt. Dort wurde das Porzellan neu gestrichen und anschließend erneut gebrannt, sodass die Farben dauerhaft blieben. Unter der Emaille sind noch die ursprünglichen blau-weißen Motive zu sehen. Keine Risse, Chips oder Restaurierungen, einige erwartete Abnutzungserscheinungen an Vergoldung und Emaille.

26" Helen Beckerhoff modernist sterling necklace with 1900 US silver dollar pendant. Nice solid sterling period mid century US made necklace just signed Beckerhoff, tested sterling. The pendant is removable.Helen Beckerhoff by Stowe Speaks Interviewed by Amanda Kuhnert on April 2010. Helen was a long-time resident of Stowe. From the late 1940’s to the late 1960’s she owned and operated a ski lodge, The Lantern, in the heart of Stowe Village. In the rear of the lodge Helen had a jewelry store, The Silver Shop, where she designed and made handcrafted silver jewelry. However, the shop was best known for the place where local, state, National and world events and issues were debated. Helen was always community minded. She served on the Stowe Select Board, the Stowe Planning Commission, and was secretary to the Stowe Area Association. When most people settled into retirement, Helen earned her Master’s degree and then taught English as a second language in China. She never lost her passion for travel.

Ernest Thomas Bilagody Navajo silversmith Ernest Thomas Bilagody (ETB) was born in Tuba City, Arizona to the Red House Big Water Clan and has been immersed in his trade for the better part of his life. His grandparents are from the Around the House Clan and the Bitter Water Clan. This craftsman was guided by his mother early on and continued those traditions into his adult years. He worked as a silversmith for over 35 years, since the mid 1970s, until his passing in 2014. His mother started him out with buffing the earrings she made. From there she gave him other duties, such as soldering things for her. With this beginning, Ernest started making his own jewelry, and he did not ever look back. He continued those traditions into his adult years. Ernest worked out of his own home, and worked for various traders. Along the way he met many other silver and goldsmiths, and he always enjoyed sharing stories about the metals, turquoises and other materials they use.

Dee Morris was adopted into the Navajo Nation where he was raised within the Navajo culture and taught the family art of silversmithing by his Navajo grandfather. He gained international fame as a cutting edge Navajo artist when the buffalo head he embellished with 9000 carats of turquoise sold for $25,000 in 1974. He taught his trade to his grandson who also became famous. He had his own gallery in Sedona, Arizona for many years which he sold in 1975. He partnered with Ralph Lauren on several projects and unfortunately died in 2006. His work has been featured in Arizona Highways magazine many times. The Jan 1974 issue featured his work on their front cover. He is a world renowned artist.

28" Sarah Duboise Navajo pearl sterling silver oval melon beaded necklace. Selling the necklace shown in good condition with weight and measurements in pictures. Circa last quarter of the 20th century. 28.5" long. Tested and guaranteed solid sterling silver. Sarah Duboise is considered by many to be the predominant beadmaker in Navajo tradition. To this day her progeny continue that tradition in that she has granddaughters who are now known for their own hand made bead work. She's the best there is or was, however. And for generations to come, the beads I am offering here will be viewed as the best. These beads were entirely hand made by Sarah Duboise from ingot and they are lovely. They are strung on sterling silver foxtail chain, which is in my opinion the best for flexibility and strength. There are also matching earrings. They are simple, elegant, and suitable for all and any occasions. They were made as part of the "Zuni Sacred Mountain" Collection, in a limited edition. Sarah Duboise is discussed in many books such as Schaaf's Biographies book Volume 1 and she began work in the 1970s or earlier. Her work resides in major galleries and museums such as the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.

3 Hobbs Brockunier Wheeling Peachblow Menagen aus dem Jahr 1890. Höchste 7", links. Keine Risse, keine „Wärmeschäden" in den Griffen, keine Restaurierungen. Die linke Menage hat einige Chips an der Unterseite des Stopfens und einen kleinen Chip am Fuß, die mittlere Menage hat einen blauen Fleck an der Innenseite des Stopfens und keinen anderen Beschädigungen, die rechte Menage weist keinerlei Beschädigungen auf. Garantiert authentisches und originales amerikanisches Kunstglas aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert. Alle drei sind in jedem Zustand extrem selten zu finden. Vor 20 Jahren wurde eine dieser Menagen, wenn sie gefunden wurden, für mehr verkauft, als ich verlangte diese drei. Im Jahr 1886 wurde eine chinesische Porzellanvase mit „Peach Bloom“-Glasur für 18.000 US-Dollar versteigert. Der enorme Preis und der Begriff „Peach Bloom“ wurden weithin bekannt gemacht. Innerhalb weniger Monate entwickelten amerikanische Glasunternehmen neue Formeln, um aus dem Namen Peach Bloom Kapital zu schlagen. Diese Glaswaren werden heute zusammenfassend als „Peachblow“ bezeichnet. Eine Art von Peachblow, deren Schattierungen von unten gelb bis oben tiefrot reichen, wurde von Hobbs, Brockunier and Company aus Wheeling, West Virginia, hergestellt. Heute heißt es Wheeling Peachblow, benannt nach der Stadt, in der es hergestellt wurde. Wheeling Peachblow ist ein zweischichtiges Glas oder Überfangglas. Die Innenschicht ist weiß; Die äußere Schicht schattiert von unten gelb bis oben tiefrot. Original Wheeling Peachblow wurde in zwei Ausführungen hergestellt: glänzend und satiniert.
