Billy Jaramillo southwestern sterling silver, turquoise, spiny oyster necklace. Solid sterling silver tested and guaranteed with artists hallmark on the pendant in the back, weight and measurements in the pictures. No issues, circa last quarter of the 20th century. 21" long necklace with other measurements in pictures. No issues. Selling the necklace shown in the pics in "new old stock" condition.
Billy Jaramillo
Jeweler, Billy Jaramillo, is known for bold designs which incorporate colorful high quality stones and substantial, chunky silver-work. He is the son of the well-known silversmith, Ray Jaramillo. Billy also studied silversmithing under renowned smith Scott Patrick, as well as inlay from Kathy Sanchez of San Felipe Pueblo and Audrey Toribio of Zia Pueblo, both considered best in the shop at that time. Billy cuts all his own stones from raw material and does all his own silversmithing. He resides and works in Rio Rancho, New Mexico and has been designing and creating jewelry for over 35 years.
