Antique Pocket Gold Scales/test kits. Selling the 19th century gold testing kit<br>without the chemicals with the 18th/19th century extremely well made and<br>complete pocket gold/gem scales complete with weights all the way down to carat<br>fractions. I could find no identifying marks, but it's really well made and so<br>is the case, notice the screws on the case have offset slots in the heads, very<br>old set. Box for scales measures 4 3/8" x 2 3/8". These are both fresh from the<br>same estate, I would speculate that these were carried by a miner or some sort<br>of traveling gold trader.<br>isshelf
