1912 Josef J Brabender Impressionism Oil on Board. I do not know a whole lot<br>about this artist, but I do know in the 30's and 40's he painted a lot of<br>miniatures. I believe he started off painting in Mexico then moved to Alaska.<br>Most of his miniatures were a thicker impasto paint in a similar style to this<br>one. I found a result of a 3" x 4" painting by this artist bringing $675 on ebay<br>in 2016, and a 2" square bringing $335 at Bonhams. 7.25" square painting 11"<br>square framed. No issues with painting, appropriate wear to frame.
