Large c1900 French Mont Joye Cameo art glass vase with hand enameled decoration<br>12.5" tall x 7" wide with no cracks, chips, or restorations.<br><br>Mont Joye was a tradename used by E. S. Mont, its successors, and Legas & Cie<br>for cameo and enamel, painted glass made between the 1880s and 1920s.<br><br>Mont Joye - History<br>E S. Monot’s Cristallerie de la Villette was the first glassworks to produce<br>cameo glass with a "Mont Joye” marking. Monte merged with Pantin and went<br>through a series of ownership changes.<br><br>After World War I, Legras & Cie acquired the company.
