Large c1940 John Gordon Leekity Zuni sterling silver intarsia inlay pendant/pin. Great pin with no issues, tested and guaranteed solid sterling silver, any marks detected, weight, and measurements will be shown in the pictures. Circa second quarter of the 20th century.

John Gordon Leak, aka John Leekity, (1920-1970) was a Zuni man who peaked in performance of his jewelry and box creations in 1975. He used Zuni inlay designs, creating a black background and used colorful stones to generate his popular figures of dragonflies, knifewings, and arrows. He influenced many artists to follow his style of work, and worked closely with his peers such as Leo Poblano, Frank Vacit, Dan Simplicio, and Teddy Weahkee.
