Large Vintage Raphael Dominguez Cuernavaca Botones Charro Necklace 32" total length, 22" long before it joins at the split with the interesting clasp. Very substantial and well made piece with no issues circa mid 20th century. 157 grams

Rafael's father was an early pre-Spratling Taxco silversmith; Rafael soon was working for Spratling and learned from the Maestros Mondragon and Navarrete. He opened his shop in the early 1940s and was highly regarded by all who knew his artistry. Sadly, he passed in 1980, at the young age of 69.
