An award-winning Navajo Nation artist, Francis Jones (1944 - ) has been a silversmith since she was a young girl. She learned from her family – especially her father, who is a fourth-generation silversmith. Her family was among the first to use sand casting, and Francis combines this technique with other, unique styles for which she is known today. Her signature or hallmark stamp is FJ.

No older jewelry is going to be exactly 92.5% silver, some a little over, some a little under. It wasn't an exact thing with handmade jewelry. I've seen thousands of pieces xrf'd to prove this.
