c1940‘s Zuni John Gordon Leak/Leekity sterling silver dragonfly pin inlaid. Solid sterling silver tested and guaranteed with weight and measurements in the pictures. No issues, circa second quarter of the 20th century. No loss to inlay but possible old fractures, all secure (see pics)
A lovely rare pin by famous Zuni artist John Gordon Leak Leekity. His work was prominently featured in the 1975 Sotheby‘s auction of the C.G. Wallace collection. John Gordon Leaks was most well-known for his knifewing and dragonfly images. This pretty pin is a perfect example of his work.
