Measures 10" high x 6" x 12" at base.<br><br>Russian born, Fred Zimbalist, 1909-2003, comes from a family of musicians. He<br>founded the Zimbalist Music Box Company located in Cleveland, Ohio. Fred<br>Zimbalist is known for unique music boxes. Most notably were the music boxes<br>made of Nickel Silver plate on brass, then hand etched in India. Each piece took<br>approximately 3 to 4 weeks to create and no two pieces are exactly alike. Once<br>etched, they were shipped to the US where the music boxes were fitted with<br>Thorens components.<br>tw152
