1950's Martha Chase Boy and Girl Doll. Great pair of 16" tall dolls in near mint<br>condition with no blemishes. In the pics the girl has a spot on her forehead, it<br>was an extra spot of paint not wear, I removed it after the pics. They are near<br>mint from the 50's or 60's with original clothes.<br><br>Chase, Martha<br>AMERICAN, 1851 - 1925<br>Martha Chase, who was married to a doctor, created dolls with a white cotton<br>cloth body and a head without a wig to make them easily cleanable. Some of her<br>special child dolls were used in hospitals to train nurses. Her company carried<br>on until 1970.<br>TW253
