Description
Hutschenreuther Black Knight Fish Plate Set Made for American Market (13). The
Black Knight mark was used between about 1925 and 1941 on dishes imported from
Germany by Graham & Zenger, a New York City importer and wholesaler. The dishes
were manufactured by Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory. These are really great.
They each have hand painted accents over a transfer. There are 9 different
patterns all North American fish, all with the name of the fish on the back. 4
of the patterns have two of each plate that are slightly different in the center
due to the accents being hand painted. They are all mint to near mint. No
cracks, chips, restorations, utensil marks, or detectable wear to gilding. The
plates measure 9 inches or 22.8 cm in diameter.
TW155
