Description
c1850 French Gilt Bronze Inkwell Putto on Fish, over the top. Super heavy solid bronze with gold dore finish from the mid 19th century sculptural inkwell. Still
has original gilt bronze removable insert, no damage or issues. Previous owner
that likely paid several thousand dollars for this had their DL# engraved on the
base, which people seemed to do quite often with precious relics in the last
half of the 20th century. Very special inkwell with two compartments for all
kinds of stuff. 9.5" long x 6.5" wide.
