I‘m not sure how this fastens. It‘s very soft doeskin, I assume maybe you would have some type of bungies or rubber bands to go from one coin to the other one on the other side. I‘m not really sure, it‘s not functional as a bracelet as shown.

No issues, weight and measurements in pics. Solid 14k gold bezel and 10 decorative beads, the rest solid sterling. Fancy stamped interior. Orville Tsinnie (1943-2017) was a Navajo artist and master silversmith who has been featured in the American Indian art world for over 25 years. He was born in Tuba City, Arizona in 1943 and lived and worked in Shiprock, New Mexico. Tsinnie learned jewelry making from his Hopi brother-in-law in the 1970s and has since won many awards, including a Lifetime Achievement award from the Indian Arts and Crafts Association.

No issues, weight and measurements in pics. Solid 14k gold center piece in sterling. Mark Jimenez knew at fifteen years old that he was destined to be a silversmith and jewelry designer. He remembers distinctly the first time he felt the metal in his hand and the creativity it inspired in him. "Jewelry," he explains, " is an inanimate object until it is worn and takes on the personality and life of the wearer." Each piece he designs is done with the idea that the piece is meant to bring life - the past, present and the future - to the wearer and he uses that imagery when designing his silver and gold pieces. Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1958, Mark descends from a long history of artists. His mother‘s family are renowned weavers from Chimayo in which the family has weavings on permanent display at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and their work dates back to 1732, according to the archives in Santa Fe. Mark‘s father‘s family are Mescalero, Apache and Mexican, are known for thier Native American sculptures in alabaster and wood. The artist has taken the precise detailed work of his mother‘s weavings and blended it with the Native American traditional themes of his father‘s family‘s sculptures to design jewelry that represents the past, present and future, of not only Native Americans, but all of mankind. He explains, "it is mankind - what we all share that is the same that I try to present in my jewelry. I try to create in jewelry the similarities we all share, the past, the present and future." Although most Native American jewelry is silver, Mark combines silver and gold in many of his more contemporary pieces. he is not confined to any one style and allows his art work to reflect, not only the traditions of his Native American roots but allows his creativity to inspire his vision of the future. mark has exhibited in The Heard Museum in Arizona and The Gilcrease Museum in Oklahoma. His jewelry is displayed in galleries in Coronado Island, California, Naples, Florida, Boca Raton, Florida, San Diego, California, Berlin, Massachusetts, Woodbine, New Jeresy, and Soho in New York City. He has won several first place awards in numerous shows and has been featured in Southwest Magazine. Mark is most proud that many celebrities are Mark Jimenez collectors including Oprah Winfrey, Linda Grey, Paul Rodriquez, Brooks and Dunn and several other country and western personalities.

Retro Robert Farrell Sterling sodalite post modernist bracelet 7" long bracelet, weight and measurements in pics. I believe these danglies were added by the last owner, it tooks great with them on but could be easily removed as the jump rings aren‘t soldered. I don‘t think the actual danglies are solid sterling. I don‘t believe the artist that made this bracelet would have used unsoldered jump rings as all of his work I have seen including this bracelet without the danglies is absolute perfection. One of the danglies is missing.I believe Robert made jewelry in the last quarter of the 20th century, I believe now his focus is Architectural sculptures which are fantastic. The quality of workmanship here is way above most studio jewelry in my opinion, I have a feeling it took him quite some time to creat each piece and that‘s why he went on to apply his skills in more No issues, weight and measurements in pics. Solid sterling. Diné silversmith Ike Wilson worked for many years for the Kelsey Trading Company at Zuni. He did silverwork for many of the Zuni lapidary artists including Ida Vacit Poblano. He often collaborated with his wife, Katherine Wilson. Navajo Nation artist Ike Wilson (1900-1942) would sign his creations with his bow and arrow hallmark. There has been some confusion in the past about the hallmark of Ike Wilson (1901-1942). It seems that sometimes his work was attributed to Austin Wilson. Both men were born in the same year and in a similar area of the reservation and both men worked at times for trader C. G. Wallace and the Kelsey Trading Company. Ike Wilsons work is signed with a bow and arrow. After his death in 1942, his wife Katherine Wilson (1907-1985) continued to use his hallmark. The bow and arrow hallmark was initially attributed to Ikes contemporary, Austin Wilson, but the corrected attribution was published in Messier, 2014.

From) was born in 1908 and opened his first workshop in 1931 when he was still only twenty-three . Over the next forty years Niels Erik went on to become one one of the greats of Danish design, and created many works including floral-inspired designs often set with semi-precious gemstones. These pieces took inspiration from the Skønvirke style. This was a Scandinavian development that formed part of Denmarks Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movement . This movement ususally took inspiration from nature with designs incorporating flowers and floral motifs as well as featuring natural creatures such as fish. N.E. FROM JEWELLRY STYLES - EARLY FLORAL DESIGNS AND LATER ABSTRACT MODERNIST PIECES N.E. Froms output generally displays one of two distinct styles. In the early years of production he produced wiry, thin, foliage and floral pieces .However, beginning in the 1950‘s the work produced by From (which were often the designs of other designers) had a very different look. No longer does the jewellery feature romantic, detailed designs from nature. The later pieces have modernist, clean lines with geometric and abstract shapes. Norbert Peshlakai was born on May 6, 1953, into the Black Sheep clan of the Dine people. Growing up in Crystal, New Mexico, with nine brothers and sisters, his mother is an accomplished weaver and all of his sisters and one brother followed in her footsteps. Norbert began discovering his artistic abilities as a painter in high school, starting with landscapes and abstract portraiture. He enrolled in painting classes at the University of Kansas intending to pursue a career in art. On a whim he decided to take a single jewelry making class, but after making mistakes on his first few class assignments he began to think, “making jewelry must not be my thing. He started skipping classes, until one day he ran into his teacher on campus. His teacher told him he was failing due to his absences and in order to pass he needed to present his sketchbook, identify 65 necessary tools, and make six pieces of jewelry. Norbert made more than six pieces of jewelry, and passed the examination with ease. As the teacher was photographing all of his students end of semester work in class, he motioned for Peshlakai to come over and take a look into the camera. When Norbert saw his jewelry through the lens of the camera something struck him, he reminisced, “I saw my work for the first time. Norbert continued through college attempting both painting and jewelry, but it was not long before jewelry took over as his passion. The artist sees his jewelry as a combination of painting and sculpture, and credits the sculptural work of John Boomers abstract wooden forms as an inspiration for him throughout his career. Norbert makes his own unique stamps from concrete nails to create imaginative, energetic patterns on his spirited shapes and has developed his own style of textures and overlays he is now known for. In the late 1970s he began making intricately ornamented silver pots, something he was introduced to in college and continues to experiment with today. His work is identified with a hallmark he created in the very beginning of his career consisting of a circle, dot, and v stamp forming the shape of an eye, symbolizing ‘vision. Norbert continues to make jewelry and silver pots from his home in Gallup, New Mexico, breathing life into his creative, one-of-a-kind pieces. A member of the Snow Clan, his Hopi name is Masaqueva, which<br>means “Wings of the Sun or “Little Sun. Bernard Dawahoya, was a master of many traditional Hopi arts, but focused on<br>silversmithing since his teens and making jewelry since the 1950s. He learned<br>from his uncles, Washington Talayumptewa and Sidney Sekakuku, and also took<br>classes at the Hopi Silver Craft Cooperative Guild. Eventually, Bernard Dawahoya returned to Shungopavi and opened his own shop, and<br>continued to exhibit at arts and craft shows. Weight and measurements in pics. Roger Skeet, Jr. was born December 7, 1933 in Vanderwagon, New Mexico. Roger, Jr. learned his silversmith skills from his father, Roger Skeet, Sr. He was the oldest of eight children and chosen by his father to stay home to help his father with his silver work. Therefore, he never had the traditional education his siblings had. His apprenticeship began at the age of eight and he worked with his father until his death in 1959. He once said, “I would like to have gone to school and served my people on the Tribal Council. Roger Skeets Jr. still uses some of the same stamps of his fathers in his work today, a wonderful piece of Navajo silver history. He became known for his stamp work on concho belts. He has made thousands of these belts, a tradition started by his father, Roger Skeet Sr., who was one of C.G. Wallaces frequently used smiths. He began using the hallmark RS in about 1950.
